As a result of either changes or issues yesterday at Betfair some users have reported serious issues in software operation, from slow downs, excessive memory usage, issues with access to Betfair and crashes.
Upon investigation late this afternoon we discovered that some data AGT used from the Betfair website was no longer available and a redirect to it's exchange site was in it's place. Our investigations have uncovered an unexpected side effect to this in the software which is causing this call repeat at an interval far faster than it was designed to in some scenarios. This is causing processor, memory and bandwidth issues for some users.
We will be doing an emergency release of the software to fix this as soon as possible tomorrow { Saturday } and expire all existing versions. Until that release arrives, at a minimum I advise you shut down and re-start the software every 20 minutes. If you are experiencing these issues within the 1st 20 minutes of use I would advise against use of the current versions completely.
I apologise for the inconvenience caused by this and we will notify of updates on this thread. Please understand that we are working on this as a top priority and as such ask that you appreciate that the support may not be up to it's usual standards in the coming days as we deal with this and any side effects of the release.
